Simple Metronome
I bought this metronome to use when I practice my saxophone because I like to turn the speakers up loud to hear the click. The metronome is very easy to use, and the shortcut key funtions provide quick changes in tempo. It also counts how many measures the metronome has gone through, which is a nice feature. However, it does have its short comings. This metronome does not provide subdivisions of any kind. Douple, triple, and sixteenth subdivisions are pretty standard on all metronomes, but are not present here. This is huge downside. You can simulate subdivisions with the accent beats by doubleing your tempo to have an eigth note feel, but the tempo only goes to 240 which limits the "subdivision" tempo to 120.
Pros: Easy to use, Smiple interface, ability to use custom accent beats (great for mixed meter), easy keyboard shortcuts, measure counting, practice timer
Cons: No subdivisions, 240 tempo limit, slightly low volume (I still have to turn my speaker up pretty high), no odd-meter selections
My advice: Save your money. There are better metronomes available for download. If you want to use this metronome, it is available on their website for free. webmetronome.com
